ONLINE Group Ukulele Classes

Both classically trained and self-taught, Taber has over 20 years of experience playing and teaching a variety of instruments. Ukulele is a perfect instrument for beginners and students of all ages. The small body makes it effortless to hold and its narrow neck allows for playing that is easy and comfortable. In a fun and friendly learning environment, you will discover the basics of the Ukulele, including proper playing position, basic chords, finger picking and strumming patterns. With a little practice, in just 6 weeks, you are guaranteed to be able to play a handful of songs on YOUR OWN!

No prior musical experience required for Beginning Ukulele Class 1. Some basic ukulele knowledge required for level 2 class (email for more info). All ages (10+ years recommended). Little Sapling Music produces joy-filled music classes and entertainment geared towards children ages 0-5 and their families. Founder, Taber Darland (formerly Amber Darland), is an award-winning singer+songwriter from Bellingham, WA. Known for their pure vocals and heartful performances, Taber Darland skillfully delivers an engaging musical experience for little ones - weaving together traditional and original kids songs, finger play, rhythm practice and movement.

Enjoy weekly toddler and preschool music classes, live streaming concerts, and kid friendly videos. Little Sapling Music is guaranteed to charm kiddos and their grownups too!

WHAT: A fun and engaging music class for littles aged 1-5 (with an accompanying caregiver). Facilitated by award-winning singer+songwriter, educator and kid enthusiast, Taber Darland.

WHEN: Wednesday + Thursday mornings, 9:30am + 10:15am class options. Class meets for 30 minutes once per week at your registered time.

COST: $75-90 (sliding scale - pay what you can on that scale) per 6 week session. *sibling discount available. Babes in arms welcome at no additional cost.

While Taber has limited availability to teach in this capacity, they enjoy maintaining a core group of students, creating a learning environment that builds confidence and inspires individuals to make music a lifelong companion. Whether you are taking up an instrument for the first time or getting reacquainted with an old friend – discovering the voice you never knew you had or honing in on your songwriting skills – Taber is skilled and ready to join you in the process and help you achieve your musical goals.
